Edited Novemby QuinaQuenĮDIT - there may be something else at work here, because it also lists 3 fights for Olok the Shadow, and I don't believe anyone went down there. Our main tank often had the lowest threat listed, even though he held aggro for nearly the entire fight, because he was brought down and rezzed.Īnyone else have these problems or know of a way to fix them?ĮDIT - there may be something else at work here, because it also lists 3 fights for Olok the Shadow, and I don't believe anyone went down there. When someone else died and got rezzed, their info seems to recount from zero on my parser. The other 'fights' listed are often less than 30 seconds long. I have nine fights listed for Dread Master Styrak, even though we took him down on attempt number 6. When I died and got rezzed, Parsec thinks it is a new fight. It worked well for us, except for two major problems. My guild tried Parsec out for the first time last night on SnV. Could come in handy if its not to much work. That way both tanks and dps classes can identify any upcoming threat issues within the reaction time of the program and can optimize the usage of taunts and aggro reduce abilitys.Īgain thank you for this awesome feature! ![]() Green is greater than 125% (or 115%) of my threat, yellow 90%-125% (115%) and Red is everyone below 90%. In the "dps mode" it would be basicly the other way round. maybe with an option of a fixed member (offtank) who is allways. In the "tank mode" it would be perfekt to have everyone as labeled green who has less then 90% of my own threat, yellow would be from 90-115% and red above 115%. So I would suggest to add a feature to colour both Name and total threat number in the pop out in comparison to the other raid members. Both as a DPS and Tank I use it to time the taunt or the aggro reduce to optimize my playstyle but in intense fights it is pretty hard to actually look on the threat board and determine the actual situation in a split second. It is about customizing the pop outs, specificly the threat board. We use it in the both raid groups I'm active in, so basicly I use it on 5 days a week and no matter in which role I'm playing, Parsec has allways some interesting and/or vital data for me. It is a great asset to our raiding and in my oppinion it is the greatest parser in the game. I'm open to correction from anybody who has spent real time and effort on calculating the differences. On behalf on my guild and raidgroup I want to take the opportunity to thank you for this awesome program. Like I said, this is just my thought process, and I know it doesn't have hard data to back it up. However, once you consider the passive AIM increase from upgrading the armorings, it seems likely to me that the 6 piece is going to be better. That would make them roughly equal in my head. I feel that a difference of 550 damage/minute is well within a margin of error for bad parses/bad assumptions/bad math. This means the old set gives about 550 more damage per minute than the 6 piece. This does NOT account for the possibility that the demo round may have been a crit even without the set bonus. With the new 6 piece bonus, I'm getting an average of ~5,500 additional damage every minute, due to the automatic crit on demo round. ![]() When you add that to the ~4,450 from grav round, the old 4 piece set grants ~6,050. That means ~1,600 damage that the 4 piece grants. I come up with about 4 high impact bolts per minute in an ideal world, and an 8% damage increase comes out to about 400 each time. If I average 12-13 grav rounds each minute (and my math is right), I'm coming up with about 2 extra crits in that minute thanks to the old 2 piece bonus. They have been rounded and cruelly abused.Ī grav round crit should give me an extra ~2,223 over a normal grav round. ![]() PLEASE NOTE: all following numbers are from quick, unscientific parses. Below is the thought process I'm currently running with (I'm gunnery for terminology purposes). I would love some more input on this question from the experts, because I've been asking myself a very similar question why would I give up the old 2 (or 4) piece bonus for what seems to be a lackluster new 6 piece bonus.
